Michael Angstadt, the principal owner and founder of Flagship Fire, has over thirty (30) years of experience in the special hazards fire suppression industry.
Mike got his start in the special hazards industry, not in sales, but spent eight years (’83 — ’91) in field installing and servicing the systems Flagship Fire sells today. In 1991 Mike began his journey as an the outside sales representative with Suppression Systems, Inc. (’91 — ’96), for the Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Delaware territory, selling $2 million in special hazards fire suppression system service and equipment. In 1996 Mike took a job in Phoenix, AZ as the National Sale Representative (’96 — ’02), selling and managing jobs throughout the country, for American Fire Equipment, Inc. The six years he was with American Fire Mike amassed over $20 Million in sales in service and system sales.
In 2002 Michael made the decision to start Flagship Fire, a company that focused on customer service, in a state he felt, from his experience with American Fire, was lacking. Mike has been President and CEO, responsible for overall company suppression sales efforts and project management for the past 11 years. Mike and his family reside in Manatee County, Florida.
